‘Z’ is the Last and Most Philosophical Letter.
By Robert Whyte and Z
1. Introduction by Z
For a long time, I’ve thought that ‘Z’ is the most philosophical of all the 26 letters of the alphabet, standing as it does for the concept of “omega,” that which inherently terminates a series, incarnating it in English, and therefore the best, most fab, and most gear letter to adopt as a philosophical pseudonym.
And for another long time, I’ve also thought that philosophical works could be created in any medium, including music.
So now, as professional academic philosophy realizes its omega phase and goes down into the dustbin of history, and il faut cultiver notre jardin, a new philosophical song by Robert Whyte fully captures those longstanding thoughts.
Listen up.
